Mythics That Need Major ID's

But like they are already outclassed by weathered? I mean ig nirv is a contender but low base.
I don’t remeber obliv being very popular,

 

yeah weathered better but they can be used
weathered needs like a general id or acro id to be competitive in 2.1

 

Most weapons are either acro or trickster or both and weathered is no exception

 

It’ll still be competitive just from the fact that it’ll be hard to get Hana

 

In my opinion nirv is the worst out of all of these Obli gives good sustain and damage and Cata drops some hp for big damage but you are flying anywYs

 

Trickster is dead in 2.1 right? Or is tricko still viable?

 

yes but you cant rely on that forever, for what weathered does its major id just doesnt help and hana will prob be cheaper in a while so

 

Not dead just heavily needed nirvana might do well cause you need lots of sustain or maybe trickshade is the way
Also they added spin range aspect so that helps a lot when fighting non big enemies

 

yeah weathered isnt great for shade and isnt really used for shade so it should get some id

This is a problem with shade itself not weathered, for example trance is a good mage melee weapon but mage melee sucks in general, meaning if you made trance ultra good for a viable melee option it would be the only option which would be bad for game balance

 

why cant weathered just get a general major id like maybe a weak vanish for acro and the current vanish buf for shade/trickster

...I think there absolutely IS a need for explanation.

The only similarities between Absolution and Immolation are the fact they both deal fire damage and are defense-related. Absolution is a low-damage healstick meant for big sweeping heals, hitting the heal cap instantly so you can try and devote the rest of your build to damage pieces or go all-in on health or things to maximize your healing output. Immolation prevents you from healing yourself or others basically at all, and is intended to max out your EHP on its own so you can build recklessly around its super high damage and soak up way more hits than you normally would be able to as a Shaman.

So, uh...care to elaborate what you mean?

 

I actually did not know about that, when i looked at the ID's of immolation i actually taught this was one of the worst mythics and did not think it was actually viable, i edited the post to remove immolation, thanks for letting me know.

 

did i miss something here im pretty sure the weathered id is pretty neat, not something that would make someone go "oh this is awful why would i even use this", like yeah roving assassin might not be useful for acro but that doesnt mean it makes the weapon bad? also whats hana again i forgor
