Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Galaxias. I was previously stationed in the Silent Expanse but was relieved to come here.
So, tell us a little bit about yourself. Or, at least what you can remember.

You don't even know how horrifying things can get when you're in the Silent Expanse for a long time. That's why we're based inside Lutho, and why you must be back at base within 12 hours.

 

You have never seen the crap Corruption showed us in the past then.

And twelve hours, you say? Pch, if you went to the Portal when it was still active, a minute would be enough! The fact that Theorick was able to enter it before going mad is not called a miracle for nothing.

 

Yeah, well 12 hours is generally when you genuinely start dying and not just going insane.

 

Depending on your definition of death we still beat it.

Though from I heard SE is much weirder than brutal compared to the Corruption.

 

The deaths are usually suicides. I don't think you get a lot of suicides dealing with corruption, but we have suicides almost every other day.

 

We... do... have a few, but certainly not "every other day". That insane man, what- how!

 

That's what the Silent Expanse does. Drives you insane till you kill yourself.
