Am I muted? "Cannot Send Chat Message"

Hello everyone,

I'm returning to Wynn after two years, but for some reason I can't see my own chat messages.

Other players can apparently see my chat messages, but I cannot see my own messages. I also have been /msg-ing people and haven't gotten any responses.

Instead of seeing my own messages, Wynncraft says "Cannot Send Chat Message."

Am I doing anything wrong? I don't think I'm muted.

 

are you using any mods? if you are try using vanilla

 

I logged in using vanilla and it still doesn't let me chat.

This is actually like a serious problem because I can barely use the trade market. I can't specify how much I want to sell of an item. I can't easily search for items like "ability shard" which don't match the general filters. I'm probably missing out on all sorts of game features.

SOLVED!

Somehow my chat settings were in "Command Only" -> I switched them to show all chat and finally I can play the game ;-;
