When should I buy a Hero?

I'm currently saving up for a Hero. However, given all of the mythic nerfs in 2.1, would it be cheaper to buy a Hero before or after Rekindled is released, taking into account the fact that killing Annihilation gives almost 1stx?

Hero changes for context:
damage: 50-70 -> 40-70
airDamage: 120-150 -> 110-140
Saviour’s Sacrifice: Now grants 15% damage and defence boosts (down from 20%)

As for Saviour's Sacrifice, I'm not sure if the health threshold has changed.

Unfortunately, talented as members of this community may be, we don't know the future. Asking when the best time to buy something may be really depends on what happens, especially considering none of the update features are set in stone. Killing Annihilation probably won't give anywhere near a stack with any regularity, and the nerf may or may not affect prices at all. It's really up in the air.

 

Fair enough, my brain was clearly not braining when I made this thread. I thought the health threshold for Saviour's Sacrifice had increased, but apparently it's always been 50% max health. Regardless, thanks for your response.

 

I've heard battle monk took a big hit in damage, but they may buff it later in the beta so we may never know. Regardless it will still be the best for warrior lootrun combat weapon, although whether or not the price will drop or not depends on whether other classes will overtake warrior's lootrun superiority right now. Mage has gotten an increased teleport range, and shaman has flying techniques now with the frog dance change. As hero hasnt been in pool for a little bit I would say maybe wait for it in pool, then buy one and lootrun and you'll probably make the money back even if hero tanks in price.
