    riftbender is fun enough but the only thing that makes it interesting is lightbender's mechanics (which are good at the moment)
    although very powerful numbers riftwalker has, it suffers from filling three niches at once (The Only Archetype Without a Spell Conversion, Teleport, Fast Hybrid), boringness (spamming main attack to fill winded and waiting isn't interesting), and forcing those who are not there for Fast Attack Hybrid to do deal with melee.

    lightbender changes meteor with ophanims that shooted on melee hit, damages both mob and itself and let you heal them to reuse on melee.
    and it somehow locks you in a singular attack speed (slower aspd = dps loss on ophanim, faster aspd = only few balls are attacking and get nuked)
    also that ball has no aoe and snake or heal is not so viable for dps unless you have some questionable "QOL mod" like average sb dungeon sweats.
    also why freeze snake is only connected with chaos explosion?
    That IS support option like freezing sigil and it should be lightbender instead, at least connect that with cheaper meteor 2 or better ophanim so mage outside arcanist can use that.

    rift is just pre-2.0 mage but worse.
    it has nerfed heal (it deserved cuz that instant heal was broken af) unless you fully goes with riftbender without ophanim.
    rifts main gimmick is winded that stacks in mobs and increases damage like marked from shade, but as you know from marked, mobs dies before it get enough winded and even if you stack up enough winded on boss then it wipes all winded with phase change or downtime (diffusion has cap and procs after finishing mobs death animation), so rift has same problem as shade (at least it doesnt have backstab)
    also its final red node is timelocked and that is just /kill button like final red node in sharpshooter.
    both locks you in sky, make unable to move even with movement spell and kill you with random mobs ranged attacks.

    tldr: lightbender changes your meteor to balls that shoots itself and let you heal them
    that main dps spell, ophanim has heavy dependency on having singular attack speed (slower speed = less attack so less dps, faster speed = balls die too quickly to heal)
    also it have no viable aoe options cuz support tax

    rift is just pre-2.0 mage but worse.
    its main gimmick winded has same problem as shade's marked (stacks slower than marked but it doesnt get removed beside phase change or dt)
    timelocked sucks as sharpshooter's crep ray

    arcanist is spell spammy archetype that requires actual hp sustain.
    it change heal spell with mana bank, that fills every time spell hits on mob (somehow ONLY on red or yellow named one).
    goated on multi target like notg boss or lr cuz it dupes mana, but meh on pure single target like greg cuz it lacks minions to dupe mana.
    /toggle effect when, i cant see anything beside all my spammed spells
    also why artic snake is locked in arcanist, while being support options
