Resourcepack fails to load when I enter the game

My problem is that whenever I join the server I immediately get the message "1 out of 1 resourcepack(s) failed to download" and I've tried searching the forums and online but can't find a fix. I've added it as a server and tried having resourcepacks enabled and I've also tried it with prompt but neither works, I still get the pop up message. I've also tried restarting the game, deleting and readding the server, I've tried on different versions of minecraft with no luck. The only thing that somewhat worked was downloading the resourcepack itself, however after searching I was only ever able to find a version for 1.12 but nothing newer and am not sure what else can be done or what is causing this to happen. No, I've been playing minecraft for years and have been on Wynncraft before with no issues, but recently downloaded it on a new laptop and now it won't work. I use an MSI and have no issues with running the game so I'm not sure what else it could be
