So I guess it's for a future update

 

Yep, I checked in-game and it looks like the changes to the mesa aren't in the beta yet. Which makes me think, I feel like they have an Almuj rework planned but haven't announced it yet. It feels weird that everything in the desert except the main city got a rework. Hell, even the Invaded Barracks did, and literally who goes there after the quest? I'm thinking that there is a mesa/almuj rework planned/in progress and they just haven't announced it yet.

 

Almuj is definitely the town most deserving of a rework. I've always thought that it looked kinda ugly and outdated. It's even more noticeable now that it's surrounding settlements (Bremminglar and Ternaves) both got reworked.

 

A little bit ago Hams talked about it a bit on discord, it sounds like it’s not happening this update sadly due to how much work it would be. But there might be more mesa changes planned, another CT said they are going to be updating the mesa more over time.

 

Did he mean that a Almuj rework will NEVER happen or did he only mean that it won't happen for this update?
