When should I join a guild?

Hello! I am almost level 80 and have never joined a guild before. What would be a good level to be at before joining a guild and being able to contribute to it? Is there anything I need to know before joining a guild?

Well, the optimal time depends on the guild. If the guild is more social, odds are they don't care as much and will accept anyone of any level. In the case of large, competitive guilds, you want to be ~100ish with a good build to contribute.
Examples:

• If you want to be giving them blocks for building, you should have a high profession level. (Unless they need low-level stuff, in which case you don't need to be as high-leveled.)
• You can theoretically build the island at any level.
• If you want to help the guild level up, you can at any level, but (especially with large, high-level guilds) experience numbers will be insignificant before stuff like scrapyard and LI and other high-level experience sources. While grinding you should maximize your XP gain. (Dungeon Tomes, Slaying Tomes, XP Focused-Builds)
• Warring requires you to be at least 100 (ideally 105) so that you can actually do damage.
• Guild Raids (when they drop) will require you to be high-enough level to complete the raid.

You shouldn't feel pressured to join a guild, as they basically just offer housing and warring. I can't think of much else benefit to joining a guild other than meeting new people and having a community of sorts.

yes as he said, don't feel rushed to do things but in my opinion try grind some levels before joining,maybe around level 50+
