Quest not Tracking

So, for some reason, my quests are not tracking. I finished a quest and was thinking of starting one, so I did start it and at first, it did track it, it got me to the NPC which I had to get info from, but when the NPC gave me directions to go somewhere it did not mark the place. Also, it's not just this quest; I've tried it with others, and it does the same. One more thing to note is that, when I click on the quest, it tells me that the quest is tracking, but when I click it again, it says that the quest cannot be tracked.

 

Are you using any mods?

 

No, I havent installed or used any other mod other than the ones required to run the game
