Hi there time for your annually reminder of classic Wynncraft flamethrower shenanigans and how funny and fun and wacky and goofy and not at all terrible and inconsistent in the slightest

(Also because 2.1 is probably going to either discontinue or outright just remove most if not all old mob spells so now's my last time to do this)

Hi anyways yes time to talk about how cool and engaging and sick and radical it is as a mob spell

Like how it auto insta-tracks the player no matter how fast they move, effectively making flamethrower less of a flamethrower and more of a radial circle of damage!!!



Or how sometimes the spell can continue to damage the player even far outside of its radius!!!



(For reference, the dodge ticks in the last moments of that gif are from the flamethrower spell.)



(I lost over half my health while being over thirty blocks away from Doctor Legendary in this and his flamethrower damage is responsible for 80% of my losses from this guy)

this is one of the oldest spells, i really wonder if itll get changed

 

I've also only just noticed yesterday that Doctor Legendary's TNT minions noticeably move towards the player at a slow pace during battle

It should. At least it should get reworked. This is by far one of the worst designed spells in the game and I'm not the only one who has been complaining about it for years at this point.

Flamethrower: Not very good. It really seems like a bad spell. Hoping that all the spells get revamped, mob spells really feel kind of old, decrepit, and bad. And repetitive too! Hard to have mob variety when they all use the same spells.

I wanted to do that but I'm struggling to find anything BS to complain about for wave

 

The knockback is annoying, but knockback in general is annoying. It’s why Fallen Factory can be annoying at times because there’s sections where mobs are trying to knock you off of towers of scrap.

 

I mean yeah the knockback is annoying but that's like the point of wave

It's not really a "BS" thing like the previous two, this one is at least fair since it only happens if you actually get hit by the wave
