    Kill mobs and open chests in areas that are a similar in level to venison, so lvl50-60 areas. Then just pray and hope you get lucky

    Hunting deer, usually. Once you acquire it I'd advise letting it marinate for 20 hours, and I would personal cook it at 130-135°F which will get it medium rare— though if you're concerned the deer you quartered may potentially make you sick, 150°F will get you more well done meat.
