Assassin/Ninja Lvl 106 Old Player Coming Back, Skill Tree Build Path and Items Insight Please

Hi! I stopped playing around 2021, but the new update looks good, so I'm returning to familiarize myself with everything. I played a bit on my 103 mage account (healer build can't do dmg man :( ) so here I am seeing if assassin is any good right now.

Please give me a sense of what a better build based around the Exploited/brass brand or any other legendary and then what future build I can aim for (I'm not sure what mythics are good rn). Also, what Skill Tree should I choose? Would it be trickster or acrobat? Everything is a bit overwhelming, haha; thanks in advance!

Welcome back first of all,
secondly, yea Brass Brand probably the best non-mythic weapon in my opinion for either acrobat or trickster. Acrobat definitely has a very high skill ceiling which trickster doesn't have as much. I suppose it's up to preference but I will say that most endgame builds that use trickster actually runs trick-o-bat (mix of trickster tree+ flowstate from acro) for an increase in dps. The playstyles are pretty different (trust me, I just tried getting back into trick-o-bat and I got cooked in raids) so I'd learn one and then kinda learn the other .-.

btw if you had raw LE, mythics are down a lot so you might be able to buy one, for example trash nirvanas reach below 20 le
