what quests do you hate

I hate hero of gavel for no reason other then the bugs, and temple of legends because kelight annoys me.

 

Underwater grrr

 

- Realm Of Light III A Headless History. So many non-skipable cutscenes aaaaaaa
- Anything with a quest helmet in it
- Agree on Hero Of Gavel, cool in concept but very janky/buggy
- Shadow Of The Beast because profession requirements
- A Journey Beyond/Further, ohmygod can you walk ANY SLOWER??? Hurry up guys

 

Lost tower is just boring
??? is too annoying to do more than once

 

I actually weirdly enjoy doing ??? every time I do it; I think I did it 10 times now 8)

 

Never hated lost tower because it's kinda a living ship of theseus. Basically no quest has remained untouched in the time I've played Wynn, except for that one. It's like a living time capsule, in a way.

Now, a headless history.... A headless history is rather annoying, once you've done it the first time. Though I can't particularly bring myself to hate hate it, it's still a good storydump the first time through.

i like headless history, but mostly because of dullahan, and the cutscenes are annoying

 

any of the rol quests other than 5, thats the only enjoyable one
shadow of the beast isnt actually all that bad

i disliked temple of legends and bobs reinc becaue of how many obscure thigns you need
hunters calling isnt bad but it took me 3 hours because of dwarves and doguns so like yeah

 

Zhight island. Swim around the ocean for an hour and navigate an atrociously dangerous and confusing area with a quest helmet

 

I think the absolute worst quest of all time was ??? upon its release, and even though I have some gripes with some quests today, none of them match my dislike for this removed one. Its gameplay consisted of finding three items scattered across Gavel (actually a cool scavenger hunt) and then dropping them into a specific carpet-covered hopper. There were no guides for this, as sharing one would get you banned (or demoted, in the case of one respected staff member).

It's the only quest to get a complete rework less than a year after it was added, and I don't think anyone missed it.

A few more remain untouched actually. Ice Nations, Zight Island and the WynnEx questline are pretty much the same as they were when they were added.
