I'm not LGBT and not from a city so I didn't come into contact with the pride month thing previously.

However I was at the Zoo in Vienna today, got into the underground and went to one of my favourite places to grab a bite. I walked out the station and found myself in the middle of a *massive* pride parade/party. Those people partied like animals and the atmosphere was awesome! They literally had giant party TRUCKS.

I would've come too if I had known it's this cool.

LGBTQ people are really nice and know how to party hard. I don't understand why some people have a problem with this. Like it's none of your business what other people do and who they love.

nah, i thought it'd be just a silly quip on the thread that everyone'd forget about in a couple days. It was taken the wrong way because of the sensitive subject matter, and as such, authorative action was taken against the post.

that said, i do think that "pride" does far more harm than good to the public image of the various sexualities it pretends to represent. And i despise how no one is allowed to criticize it without automatically being labeled a homophobe, transphobe and more. As a bi man presenting as a female, who also opposes pride, it's not a very nice feeling to have both extremist sides gunning down my opinions, but it's the path i've chosen to follow in life, because i believe it to be right

if you look for justification, i thought the post would be funny, since under any other topic, this thread would've been considered a profile post worthy shitpost. agreed, if i say i dont support pride i will get flamed way too much
people need to understand that some people dont agree with their opinions
and me not supporting pride doesnt mean imma go and like do any radical things, all it means is i dont support it
