Minecraft Mod Installation for Fullbright (or smth similar)

Can someone teach me how to download a fullbright-like mod for Minecraft 1.20.6? I'm not really a modder, so I don't really know how to install mods. Thanks

 

Hello there, I’d opt for LunarClient a built in mod client with hundreds of features and modpacks(one created entirely concentrated around Wynncraft).

Fullbright is one of the many additions available in the Client.

damn didn't even know they removed gamma from option.txt. According to a 5min google search, you can just download a texture pack for it, apparently vanilla tweaks is popular?

I would use Lunar Client, but the problem is that it makes my game extremely laggy. Are there any other ways to get Fullbright?

If you find the game too dark and want to see better in caves and at night, you can increase the gamma in Minecraft. Here’s how you do it:

1. Locate the Minecraft Folder:

     • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft

3. Edit the Gamma Value:

   • By default, this value is set to 1.0.
   • To increase the brightness, change this number to a higher value. For example, changing it to 10.0 will make the game significantly brighter.

Note:

i would suggest Lunar Client, as a few people have mentioned above. to activate full right, you press right shift, hit the search bar, and then type in ‘fullbright’. from there, you can enable and disable it.
