Hello! Glad to see you again! Haven't seen you in around here for a really long time. How has running airships been? Did you get to see every bit of the world? Got some stories or news to tell?

@Galaxias meet Justice, a very old friend. He is an engineer and pilots airships. A long time ago he was the leader of our small group and was the one holding it together. You should've seen us! The OWWC... We were like a landslide, nothing could stop us. The people we have saved, settlements we defended... I still cherish the memories to this day. Alas we grew old, retired and parted ways. I wonder how is the rest doing...

 

Oh, things happen fortunately and unfortunately...

As for the airship running, it is quite difficult, but its secrets are slowly revealing themselves to me. The theory and practical application are no easy thing to understand for obvious reasons...

I have yet to use it to see every bit of the world but once I figure it out, then I shall be sure to come visit you. Give me about a minimum of 5 years to slowly infiltrate the airship administration, those Corkians have a high bar you have to exceed first and I want to exceed it to the point they have to set new standards...

Oh, let us see... I almost have my most recent airship theory figured out... Tons of nasty physical laws of the air you have to take into account in their design but it should be sure to hit what we need it to be. I also intend to leave soon for a week to work on an experiment to be put in another airship, one that will get higher than I could hope to achieve currently. I'll send back images of it when all goes well!

Not quite. I am an engineer in training and an airship designer. I know several airship pilots, but I know less airship designers as the field is quite a difficult one to crack.

I wasn't exactly the group leader as we kinda designed it as more of a council. Many of the original council have moved on since then and have had other life events happen. THe group had to be held together out of necessity at some moments or else the resulting collapse would have been disastrous.

Indeed! The group seemed unstoppable during the years of the Great Plague in the times before we departed. They are memories I will cherish as well even if they were brief in the grand scheme of things. Maybe, perhaps, several years from now, a revival of sorts will come about in some form when the chaos of finding ourselves is over. One can only hope that however.

 

Man, that's some horrible bureaucracy. I would've assumed they would let you join them after a year or two with your skills, but making you wait over two decades...

I think starting a revolution might be a better idea at this point...

 

Eh, maybe not, as then the administration would possibly have to be built back from the ground up since revolutions are too chaotic. A slow take over is possible and can be done given the time and patience.

 

Yeah, I missed that rationality. I suppose it saved our butts a few times back then though.

 

I could probably get you in and out in 6 months.
