Nah she's probably not like that Flamepixel. We don't know what the Fruman Queen is like, all we know is that she's treated like a god by her people, and that her guard are named the Kai Shi.

several wiki pages and conversations online state that the player and tasim and aleder are the last recruits plus, you dont see any other recruits arriving in the server gameplay/storyline

 

Yeah I don't see them removing the name creeper from Wynncraft, the likely reason why the nether is now called the realm of war is probably because Wynncraft is pretty much nothing like minecraft, it just uses minecraft as a game engine, which is pretty much what minecraft is now anyway. Creepers are here to stay because they edited that quest in 2.0.3, I forgot its name. Oh and I don't think the Fruman Queen is going to have anything to do with the realm of dern, it just doesn't make sense to do that, Fruma will probably have it's own story that may tie to the rest of the lore in some small way, which we will likely see through secret discoveries if they plan to have those in Fruma.

No I think Fruma recruits probably only come once a year, and those people are either Cursed as the Frumans call it, or they are criminals, and in the player's case, possibly a peon of the Fruman queen.

 

Wynn being Fruma's "convenient trashcan" makes sense.
It could be that the Kings of Troms and Ragni and the Queen of Fruma are connected, possibly even related, somehow. Somewhere along the line, something happened (massive lore hole ik), and when Ragni and Troms were hit by the corruption, the Kings started pleading with the Queen of Fruma to send recruits. The Queen of Fruma then got this brilliant idea to send the criminals and the "unwanted" of Fruma to the war, as she wouldn't care if the likes of those Frumans died anyways. It would be better if they died "noblely" in the war, rather than in her prisons or on her land.

Here's a thought, if it was discussed earlier I didn't see it, but let me put this out there.

The Queen of Fruma is a servant of the Dern Beast.

Reasoning:
- Dern is the next major update after Fruma according to the devs
- The Dern Beast seems to favor those who cause great destruction and disarray, especially against the forces of light and positivity (Bakal, the Parasite, etc.). Fruma seems to be a place that, if Tower of Amnesia serves correct, is a place fraught with both.
- At the end of NoL, Orphion says that "she" must be stopped. Now, it could be a number of people, maybe even Lari. But wouldn't it make sense?
- The memory loss thing seems to run in the same vein as corrupting magic, similar to the Decay and Corruption- maybe a Decay that affects the mind?

 

I keep seeing people talk about how Orphion references a "she". It couldn't be Lari because, story-wise, it wouldn't make sense for Orphion to want to "stop" Lari, since Lari was chosen by Orphion to stop the Parasite. However, unless we can make a direct conncetion between the Realms and Fruma, I highly doubt Orphion is referencing the Queen of Fruma either.
It is most likely that Orphion is referencing the Dern Beast. Although I don't know the gender of the Dern Beast, it makes most sense, since both are polar opposites in terms of the war and the protagonist/antagonist hero/villain stereotype. Orphion could also be referencing the Parasite, however we don't know the gender of the Parasite, if it has a gender at all.
If what you are saying about the Queen of Fruma being a servant of the Dern Beast is in fact true, then why does Orphion only reference her, why not the other servants (Parasite, Ba'kal)?

[EDIT: It also wouldn't make sense for the Queen of Fruma to be allied with the Dern Beast if Fruma is afraid of the corruption. However, the theory of criminals of Fruma being sent to Wynn and being brainwashed could potentially tie in with the QoF/Dern Beast alliance theory, as QoF could be funding/feeding the war to then rid Fruma of the criminals through the recruit programme.]

I have also seen theories saying that Orphion is refrencing Qira, however I don't know enough about Qira to comment on that. I've also seen theories saying that Qira and the Queen of Fruma are related, but I think it makes more sense if the Kings of Ragni/Troms and the Queen of Fruma were related, geographically and story-wise.

 

Theory aside, I very much doubt this atm, Wynn scope has grew too much and a Dern update will likely be even bigger than Fruma, so there will likely be a major update between Dern & Fruma much like the next update will be between 2.0 & Fruma.

Back to the theory, I agree since I doubt Fruma will have no relation to Dern plot.

 

Actually, Recover the Past shows the opposite. It shows that Fruma is ordered and strict, that internal government corruption is punished— seen with Reynald —and that punishment is delivered to those who fall outside of the law.

I'm uncertain what you mean by this. It doesn't have any similarities to Corruption, MUCH less the Decay.

Im sorry, I glossed over this— WHAT?? Dern is DEFINITELY not the next major update after Fruma?? Do you think we're just going to release Fruma as 2.2 and Dern as 2.3???

 

This is why I think the "convenient trashcan" theory works more than the "Fruma/Dern" alliance theory.
Like in the tutorial (im assuming that the tutorial is canon and not made up for the purposes of the tutorial), it is known that the player, alongside Tasim and Aledar, are the recruits from Fruma, for war in Wynn.
We also know in Recover the Past that criminals undergo some form of magical brainwashing by the guards ("there is no war inside Fruman walls" Ba Sing Se cutscene).
We ALSO know that the Corkians are fugitives/refugees from Fruma, who made and settled in Corkus. The details of their memories are, however, unknown to the playerbase at this time.
Maybe Corkians ran from Fruma because they learnt of what was happening to the criminals? Maybe there was a prisonbreak, leading to the fugitive criminals becoming who we now know as Corkians?
We know that the Queen of Fruma is scared of the corruption. We also know that Fruma is strict and heavily ordered. What better than to deter the Fruman public from committing crimes by sending criminals to war?

I think this thread has trailed off because it seems obvious that the Queen of Fruma (or the Fruman Government in general) will form as an antagonist of some kind, but not be connected directly to the Dern Beast. Whenever Wynncraft players hear "villain" they think Dern, so they try and find any way possible to connect all the antagonists to Dern, and forget that antagonists can have different motives.

 

Her Majesty just wants to stay in power. It's not that deep.

 

Have you done the new Recover the Past? The whole ba sing se thing was removed. The cutscene is completely different, and has you experiencing things through Tasim's eyes

I mean, clearly it is a bit deeper than "staying in power" if you have people running away from the province and youre brainwashing people or taking away people's memories...
