Assassin/Ninja Help Acrobat...?

Ok im confused. Everyone is saying "acrobat is so op!! flying assassin 100B dps!!" ok so I got some random build that has 40k multi and other stuff thats supposed to be good. It doesn't make any sense though, how do I use multihit when I'm above my opponent? I understand the flight mechanics, and I can stay in the air for a while, but how do I deal damage? Someone help me

idk if your coming from a long break or smthing but multihit can be aimed down.

Acrobat is a relatively hard playstyle to master, you have to learn how to stay not too high while multihit-lacerate cycling or you can play safely, staying high, dropping down to multihit then use pirouette (the dash upgrade that bounces you up) to fly back up again while smoke bombing and gliding over the enemy with lacerate

ALSO: With blade fury unlocked you can pull the enemy with you when you multihit them, so you can chain multihit while flying to pull a single target up and destroy them. Only problem is that if they do high dps then you have a chance of dying too

 

yeah ok so this whole archetype thing is new to me, I played 2020-2022 and stopped, now im coming back. I had 5 lvl 105s, deleted them all, now im releveling them to play through the new content but ok ty

it's actually kind of the worst archetype for damage but it's the most fun
