What are Your Favorite Archer Abilities?

This is part 1 of 5 in a poll which I ask you what your favorite skill tree abilities are from a class. Don't worry, I'll get to your favorite class eventually.

So basically, what archer abilities do you enjoy the most? There isn't a specific format you can answer this question: it could top 5, favorite for each archetype, etc.

To get started, I really like the speed boost you get after casting escape, and I'm also a fan of having tons of sidekicks so "Call of the Hound" is another favorite.

 

Focus honestly still feels like the most powerful archer ability since the damage buff is just bonkers with 7 focus

 

haven't played much archer until recently but i'm a big fan of that twisty laser thing that replaces arrow storm

Grappling Hook's one of my favourites, kinda sucks when you're in an open space though. Would love it if you could use Escape and Grappling Hook at the same time, maybe using shift or something.

 

Grappling Hook, purely because of the Sky Islands Lootrun Camp. Sure, archer may suck for LR, but nothing is more fun to me than spidermanning my way across the Sky Islands.

Now through this secret combo you are teleported to ragni, AND it unlock A WHOLE NEW SECRET ABILITY TREE, with so many new spells. Also it opens up 106 MORE levels of content!!!

anything that spews arrows all over the screen multiplies my dopamine by 3

Heart shatter and implosion, getting so much more damage as a reward for a direct hit on bomb arrow is underappreciated.

 

Honestly in terms of feel I think Grappling hook is one of the most fun abilities in the game, even if it objectively kinda sucks

 

Wow that's so cool, I didn't know the archer could do that!

 

I think phantom ray is so satisfying to use, and escape + arrow rain combos are really fun too

Homing Shots cuz why aim when you can just let the game do it for you?

 

Frenzy because temporary feels awesome, love rocket jump too

I'd love grappling hook if it gave me actual momentum without max distance

 

Rocket Jump + Bouncing Bomb + Ballistic Trap is the most goated combo ever I love trapper sm


Twain's Arc is also really fun though I wish I can use it while floating or smn. It kinda sucks when the ground is uneven. BUT STILL Twain's Arc is fun af especially with Phasing Beam
