Arguments for Wynncraft Superiority

Video games aren’t art, is an element of a game but in this case popularity has nothing to do with it.

 

Hard disagree on videos games not being art, they are art just as much as any movie or novel, and just like art in any medium you can try and quantify quality by how many people enjoy it as a whole. But even this system has its flaws.

 

yeah video games are DEFINITELY a form of art, look at rain world it’s debatably more of an art than a game

To be fair, HSB would be a good game if the community is not so terribly toxic, the dungeon balance patch came out much earlier, players aren't forced to grind for ridiculous amounts of time to have most of the content be playable (in Wynncraft you can hit 100 within a week and do all endgame content with mythicless build), and the devs actually cares about the game and players (Wynncraft made Asian proxies while Hypixel is still lagging hard and the Hypixel devs never did anything about it).

 

Yea this is what I was trying to say. It’s the best way of measuring it but obviously it still has flaws
