Is Morph set still meta?

I haven't legitimately play Wynncraft since 2021, But I've quickly acclimated to the new UI and stuff. But Has the weapon/Armor meta changed at all?
If it's important to mention, I'm going for the Paladin archetype.

well morph was meant to be an easy built that is good in that it is playable and you will not die, but it is not the best at all, because it would discourage real classbuilding and crafting

I think its doing a good job of what it does

 

It's a good build to use for pretty much any content in the game as it can solo anything, but as far as I know it is generally regarded as the worst "usable" build for endgame. The issue isn't that it's bad, it's a good setup, it's just that there are way better ones that you can use if one actually decides to actively get them.

It's a convenient build to just grab and use as a temp when you're in the process of trying to gather the pieces of a better one.

Morph isn’t way worse than real endgame builds though, the difference is barely noticeable if comparing a morph build to another endgame well rounded build.

Non-morph has:
about 400 more hpr
12% more ws
10 extra skill points
16 more mr (but with slightly pricier spells)
about 2.5x the base meteor damage
Non-morph does lose 3k ehp not including the extra skillpoints and the xp bonus and loot bonus, but everything else is noticeable
This is further exacerbated when using mythics with a high sp requirement that morph can't reach

 

try it on a mythic then... you are using a weapon which heavily prioritizes raw spell, which the first build prioritizes, while in morph there's only 1 raw spell item

When using The Nothing, a wand that works terribly with raw spell damage (due to it already having high raw spell damage and half of the hits not dealing damage) and is known for its synergy with full morph, they have similar power (I changed the boots for better comparison)(at similar ehp, morph loses in damage but has slightly higher walk speed and spell cost reduction).

For not using full morph you have more freedom on adjusting the build.

Bad news, the diversity of meta warrior builds is nonexistent, the only meta build is charge spam fallen monk with idol or hero(+Gale's sight).
I recommend just play what you like (as a poison warrior player)

 

They changed the nothing a while ago btw
It no longer has a crap ton of spell%, but now is a super consistent weapon with +425 raw fire,air and thunder spell damage- hence, raw spell is actually quite important due to the damage not really being anything special anymore, and since spell% is useless for it.

Personally i'd say the greatest advantages of morph are the 100% xp bonus and 120% loot bonus, and the fact that it only costs like 1le at most for the full set (while something like libra can cost upwards of 3 or 4 le just by itself.)

Morph doesn't give very good spell or melee damage though, and non-morph builds can be made significantly more specialized which is stronger in most cases (see 300k ehp warrior and 300k dps epoch.)
Besides, morph sometimes requires tomes to wield certain weapons (for example, it's 5 points short from being able to use Fatal) and misses out on major ids, such as Entropy

Well If I'm taking everything y'all have said into consideration. Are there any better armors for XP (currently lvl 51)
