Can sorcery trigger off of itself?

Exactly as the title says
I see some forum from 2021 say that it does, but im wondering if they've changed it since then, since ive been trying for the past like 10 minutes and havent gotten a single double proc.
Its only a ~1 in 10 chance, it shouldnt be that hard. Yet it never happened.

2021 was before the Spellbound update, which changed a lot of major ID, so it probably doesn't double proc anymore
