Arguments for Wynncraft Superiority

my real take: its a waste of time to try to argue over something so subjective, let people enjoy the things they like even if you dont like said things yourself. i also think its pretty petty to assume the hsb devs dont put in as much work as we do, although i don't follow hsb news so maybe such a thing is evident

Well since he played both games so much he should be able to elaborate on why *he* prefers to play on HBS. To decide whether something is objectively better is often a very har task, even with so much experience, because one person will always be bound to the same limited peception. They just might not like a certain kind of gameplay or aesthetic and there more often than not many ways to enjoy the same thing. That said, the truth is that there is probably no single objective way to determine superiority since we are not dealing with 1 dimentional objects. If I were you I would talk with your friend about why he personally likes HBS and why do you like Wynncraft instead of comparing them :)

My stance on this is that one is an MMO with RPG elements and one is an RPG with MMO elements
HSB focuses on grinding while Wynn focuses on storytelling and gameplay

also you can use profs to argue his grinding points since profs are so unbelievably grindy it rivals HSB to max all of them
Also ask him what level he got to, if his answer is less than 70 his wynncraft takes are immediately invalid since the game changes so much past that point

a conscience
just wait for him to get ratted or for the headless horseman he spawned get pushed into the void or for random people with literally 0 magic find try to get the last hit on all his slayer bosses and then RUB IT IN HIS FACE

 

honestly the issue isn't "this person enjoys hsb", because that is fine and I don't particularly care about it - the issue is "this person considers hsb to be a better game than Wynncraft", which is a different issue

That's true. It would be delusional to claim that they don't do much work on SB, because oh man. As an enthusiast of other gamemodes than SB on that server, one common complaint is that the entire server gets neglected because all they do is SB, SB, SB, SB, SB, SB, SB, SB, SB, SB.

 

that's their opinion though.. it's ultimately subjective whether one game is better than the other
