I'm Hearing Things

I just finished the Canary Calls Quest for the first time and it was fun. The story was mysterious, and left me feeling like there was more to uncover beyond the 8 secrets. Soon after completion I couldn't help but notice the mining sounds around the Canary's cage. It has these patterns and pauses that go on for a few minutes then loops. My initial intuition was that it could be some kind of code, maybe morse?

Before you brush off the sounds as just random mining noises, I would like for you to go to Thesead, and listen to it for yourself. I think it is highly probable and highly likely that they really are just random tapping noises. But at the same time I feel as though it resembles an encoded message. The rhythm of the taps is just so peculiar -- if it's not supposed to be some kind of code. Then why was it produced in such an odd way? Why was it created at all?

I recorded and played back the tapping numerous times. It probably is not morse code. There are no clear long taps, however a series of short taps could represent a long tap. I am not familiar enough with morse to be able to distinguish this well. There are multiple ways to interpret a series of taps outside of morse. This potential puzzle could be decoded in various ways. So this little mystery is frustrating and in the air for me. It also makes me want to shrug it off as nothing. Alas, I have created this thread in case anyone is interested, and would like a crack at these sequences. I highly encourage you to mute all other sounds, except for the tapping, and give it a listen.

EDIT: And yes, before any of you point it out. I'm aware it is the mining noises from the miners. But it doesn't take away from the fact that it sounds like a code. It's also a weird feature that the content team would go out of their way to implement.

The title made me very concerned for your wellbeing. And I don't think they are implementing ??? part 2 so don't worry about secret strange morse code QR codes (maybe... or maybe they will have ??? Ultimate Version where you don't see the quest until you do the QR CODE!!!)

No I am serious. This has nothing to do with clocks. There literally isn't even clocks in cotl and beyond I don't think, I'm pretty sure furthest is cinfras
