The mushroom expands. Injuries increase and the city's walls crumble into dust.

 

The citizens eat the dust and then die where they stand. Their bodies turn to stone, reconstituting the city and the walls out of their petrified corpses.
Every day I am seen happily bouncing on the mushroom. It looks so FUN!!! Hey @Mardeknius, why don't you leave those meetings and audiences and come bounce with me!

 

Unfortunately, the mushroom has been emitting incredibly toxic spores all this time, though you don’t notice any of its effects at all. You will die in 3 posts, and your death cannot be avoided.

Sadly, I am well beyond range of the mushroom’s effects, being outside the city itself. You quickly die from lung blockage and I cut down and disintegrate the mushroom before taking the city once more.

 

To make things more interesting, I secretly replace all the available building materials in the area with slabs of mushroom I've been farming ever since I realised it was poisonous.

I then start shooting artillery at the city.

 

I've been waiting a long time for this.

The slabs of mushrooms transform into a giant Yahya's Apprentice, and then you all realize, that all along, the mushroom was ME!


I re-integrate the mushroom dust destroyed by Etherweaver into myself

I blow up the city with giant mushroom projectiles that explode on contact. Which happened to be at the north pole.

I re-grow the city out of mushrooms and place myself as Emperor! There are no other citizens, having been turned to stone and then into dust earlier, and you all float around in the air lifelessly, as dust particles.

 

Luckily, I happened to be out of town when this all happened. The whole environment with Tzel constantly putting me down was a little . . . toxic

After a pun that good, Punaeus, the God of Puns, decides to bless me with the power to permanently change organic material into inorganic material. One touch and the entire city is now made out of rubber. I then slap you in the face, and you're turned to sand. I then take the throne, and own the city. I repopulate it with talking birds. Not toucans, though, I'm still on rocky ground with Toucanus.

 

Can you control what the organic matter turns into? Because I still have like a planet's worth of mushroom I managed to save from Elytry and nothing to do with it.

I don't get the pun, so everything after the word "toxic" is erased.

 

If we move it nearby to wherever the city is, you could turn it into one of the really unstable elements and blow up everything. You might want to run away quickly though...

Unfortunately, your lack of a sense of humour doesn't revoke the power, it just means Punnaeus smites you for being a buzzkill.
