Guide Struggling with Eldritch Outlook parkour? Use this! (99% legal)

I've seen numerous complaints about the difficulty of the EO Parkour section, it being too arduous to visualize for some people. So I came up with the idea of using the old Lootrun path feature from Wynntils to solve this problem! I simply recorded my Lootrun and circled around the area where the barrier blocks were. The result was puddles formed by the Lootrun path that shows approximately where the barrier blocks should be, here is what it looks like.





This will let you do the parkour simply without having to look down ever again, but keep in mind that some of the puddles aren't 100% accurate, so try to stay in the middle of the puddle as much as possible while jumping or landing.

How to import this into your game?
(I am going to assume that y'all have Wynntils installed already like I think 90% of yall have it)

2. Put this file in your looruns folder (.minecraft or your instance folder > wynntils > lootruns > [put the file here])


3. Open the Wynntils book in the game then go to lootruns.


4. Load up the lootruns.


5. Make sure to set your lootrun path type to line in the config, so it won't look messy


This may become outdated if the parkour were to be altered by CT/Builders, but for the time being, this method is very easy to use and doesn't require any external mods other than Wynntils.

i have watched my party beat the boss 5 times before i made it past the parkour (i died in phase one anyway)

 

this is unironically a very clever use of the lootrun path feature, awesome stuff

 

Tested this yesterday and it worked well.

Will recommend this to any person who has issues with the EO parkour.

Clever sure, but it really isn't so tough as to need it. You just have to wrap your head around it.

 

The number of people who can't pass this parkour normally says otherwise.

No other parkour in Wynn had this many people complaining.

It's amazing how much of the CT is still so oblivious to how insanely stupid this parkour is.

 

Having to wait 15 minutes outside the boss room so a party member can finish the parkour not only feels bad, but makes them feel bad too.
Watching CT/Staff members shrug off all the valid criticism of it with 'hurr durr skill issue' is just ignorant and disrespectful.

 

Okay I am going to write a thread detailing exactly why EO's parkour sucks and how it can be improved
