Fantastic Voyage ? More like fantastic headache

Hey,

Been stuck here a good while, and it's ended up costing me 4 Le in total (Damned fortune teller).
It seems I can't get the NPCs to give me the actual quest dialogue. The fortune teller will only let me ask option 1 and 2. I can't ask any of the NPCs about Relend.
Also I think from what the wiki says, the fortune teller is supposed to offer a refund option, but that also doesn't seem to work for me. I've tried as many times as I'm willing to waste 1Le on, now I'm just annoyed.
I've sat through that damned Bread dialogue 4 whole times, and bought enough whisky to become a raging alcoholic.

Could anyone guide me ? Am I missing a trigger step ? Am I just unfortunate enough to have a glitched quest ? Will I ever get my 4 Refunds ?!

 

I also had this problem quite recently. The problem is that not all of the dialogue options are showing up, I'm not sure how to fix the problem however if you check the Wynncraft Wiki page it will tell you the options you can select. Wiki: https://wynncraft.fandom.com/wiki/Fantastic_Voyage

 

I've been following the wiki, that's howI realised I wasn't getting all the options. But how can I select an option that's not shown to me ?

You. What. Hello??!?! Why are you spending all your money on a literal scammer, a genuine fucking scam artist npc. That's not part of the quest, you are just voluntarily giving up your emeralds for this guy to give you bogus fortunes

 

To be fair he's the one who's supposed to tell you to see the tavern NPC to find the parrot. I just assumed that, like in some other quests, he'd either not actually take your LE or you'd get it back after. Which to be clear, you're supposed to be able to, there should be a refund dialogue, but it doesn't show for me.

Refund? Fortune tellers irl and in movies have a history of being scams even. It’s just a funny npc

 

I understand the irony. But I was following the wiki the whole time, if you go check it out, there's supposed to be a refund dialogue. Didn't even question it, because I mean, this is a kid's game after all

The refund dialogue has a chance to appear and its not all the money you spent, just 1 LE.

 

Kids oriented games to have failsafes and protection against scams. My point of view anyway.

I have, disconnected and reconnected also, and even tried doing another quest and coming back to it.

1LE would be the full amount then, the NPC takes 1 LE and refunds 1 LE. But you say it only has a chance to appear ? How does that work ? genuinely curious

 

It just has a random chance to appear.

 

Still found no way to continue this quest. Could anyone explain to me what exactly is supposed to happen ? Which exact NPC is supposed to continue the storyline ?

After running into the same trouble with the breaking point quest, I tried going to a vanilla mc instance (no wynntil modpack and such) and it seems that it fixes it. The WynnEnhanced modpack, or however it's called, I use makes it so you can only ever see the first two dialogue options with NPCs. Good to know
