SPOILER Looking for Script Spell Names

idk if this belongs in questions but this post would receive more traction here so e

this is my way of taking care of a lot of stuff for the wiki, mainly the official names of script spells, bc they aren't present in-game. Here's a list of the ones that don't have official names yet, and you can only name it if you are a CT member (unless it went unnamed, and that means either now you can name it or i already took the labor off your hands):

Quest Mobs
Heart of Lava (Lava Springs)

• Spews out a set of short-range fireballs

Grootslang Wyrm (Realm of Light I - The Worm Holes)

• Large clusters of particles appear from the mob that deal damage to anyone caught in its path.

Warden of Wisdom (Realm of Light III - A Headless History)

• Creates weaker clones of itself, and if a clone is killed the original mob is fully healed

Yahya - The Final Form (Shattered Minds)

• 99% of your current HP is dealt to you as damage when this mob appears

Lari (Realm of Light IV - Finding the Light)

• Lightborne Weirds have light particles drop from them and deal damage to people caught in them. Done by Lari.
  
• the thing that happens when "Lari's magic marks you for death" happens during Lari's fight.

Eyed Shade (The Olmic Rune)

• the thing that gives you nausea

Theorick Twain (A Hunter's Calling)

• frost tornado
• hail thing

Maxie (A Hunter's Calling)

• the instakill thunderbolt

Tasim, the Protector (A Hunter's Calling)

• the thing that happens when Tasim says "Airforce! Drop the bomb!"

Dungeon Mobs
Cathedral Temporal Anchor & Ruined Units (and more i forgor the exact ones) (Timelost Sanctum)

• Summons Rogue Stars when attacked

Captain Redbeard (GG)

• A series of cannons appear on the edge of the arena and fire in lines.

Corrupted Slykaar (CUR)

• The fire pillar mechanic that happens in the arena

The Eye (EO)

• summons retaliating gazers
• explosion telegraphed by purple particles
• summons the cascading arteries
• creates a hole that tps you in front of the eye
• the laser
• VORE VORE VORE thing
• deathknell wretch summon

Raid Mobs
Grootslang Wyrmlings (NotG)

• Holes appear across the arena and do a lot of damage if you fall into one

Orphion (NoL)

• A Bloodlust Rune is activated
• the crystallization thing
• orphion's minion summons

Sanitizing Void (NoL)

• the altered pull thing where you have to defeat it to free yourself

Colossal Duke (TCC)

• the thing that fires fireballs from itself
• the platform explosion thing
• (not a script spell here, just a question about tcc, what do the colossal jams do outside of being a minion)

Mammoth Mouth (TCC)

• the pesky peridotite summon
• The red platform explosion spell (i think the gnarled mouth does this too)
• the thing that turns platforms black (unless its the same thing as above, also i think the gnarled mouth does this too)

Colossal Eye (TCC)

• Examiner summon

Colossal Core (TCC)

• The core explode thing

Quartzite Cerebellum (TCC)

• Summons Igneous Neurons, Onyx Axons, and i think Potassium Phyllites?

Lootrun Mobs
Azer Warforged (MHH - Supply Wagon)

• apparently this guy can leap

Overflowing Magma (MHH - Overflowing Magma/Destroy the magma pool)

• it can spit out fire

Pyreant Anthill (MHH - Pyreant Anthill/the fucking anthill)

• this thing can spit out ants

Darkness Between the Stars (SIE - Astralaus' Comet/Slay Target in S P A C E)

• apparently there's a thing that causes it to do a cooler meteor

The Cultivator (SIE - Exiled Garden/Slay Mobs in Void Valley)

• spawns bulb seeds

Bone Monstrosity (SEE - Graveyard of the Thousand/Slay Target in the Void Hole)

• the tornadoes

Regular Mobs
Sentient Vines (Swamp Hill)

• Explodes into a burst of flames upon death

LAZER Driller (Corkus Quarry)

• the drill thing with the laser

Shadow Dwarf (Shadow Altar)

• the thing where he vanishes and throws his hammer

Excavated Golem (Forgotten Excavation)

• the ore grenade thing

done by a lot of mobs
that one thing which has a bunch of upcoming attack markers appear in the arena
done by: Grootslang Wyrmlings, Lari, Ancient Construct, and a whole bunch of others that i'm probs forgetting

and that should be it (i think).

 

Panic Zealot (Bottomless Pit)

• 99% of your HP is gone -> HP Drain
  
• the snares -> Zealot Snare
  
• the cloning thing -> Zealot Clone

it does, but it has an official name (Spore Cloud). this thread is for unnamed script spells

I hate that the Sky Islands Exploration and the Silent Expanse Expedition sound so similar or at least have a similar acronym.

 

Same, they could have picked something other than exploration of all things.

 

ngl you're very rarely going to get a good name for any of these. if a gm wanted to name a script spell something interesting, you'd likely know about it already.

like, here. you say it's a boring name, but i'm honestly not sure what you expected? few of these will have non-boring names. if you want them named, come up with names yourself

 

Isn’t the point of the Wiki to host official content and not fan-made conjecture? (As seen in the Qira species thread)
