How do Stealing and Greed work?

Hey everyone,

I get the basic idea with both of them, that stealing provides a chance per hit on a mob to get an extra emerald and Greed heals you for 15% max health for each mob emerald you pick up. But are there any limitations?

I read an older thread that stealing is capped at 5 extra emeralds per mob and somehow there is a cooldown between the drops that is related to the attack speed? Is that information still up-to-date?

And for Greed I can't find any additional limitations beyond the amount of items that have this major ID. While playing around I was able to absorb as many emeralds as I wanted and each healed me. Or did I miss something?

Yes.

Yea, Greed applies to every emerald, but it does not stack with other instances of Greed on your items.
