Is there any lore related to the angels in Sky Islands? I don't understand their nature, and I wanna learn more about them! definitely not for a boltslinger ability I'm working on

The main story arc of the Sky Islands: There was another Colossus that existed in the region, but it went haywire and fractured the Ahms region in the year 0 AP, causing half of the land to descend into the Void (NOT TNA void) and the other half remained in stasis above the void.

Secondary arc: Skyraiders. Their queen died. That's all ik.

Ternary-ish arc: There was a dragon named Farcor that used to live in the Ahms region but left due to the greed of mortals. Bob also probably visited them.

Yep yep. Though where do the angels come in?
    ________________________________
Also, I think the Farcor arc happened with the main story arc. Farcor tried to warn the people about the Colossus being haywire, but they didn't listen. When they ended up being swallowed by the void and all that, Farcor, out of disappoinment, left the Ahms region and went to live in the clouds.

Ah yeah I think Farcor is somewhat involved in the main story.

I don't think the Angels have any particular lore revealed yet, though.

I’ve found the angels interesting for a while now, they don’t really seem to be important to anything yet though

angels just probably just add in for a mobs. Probably like harpy where they just treat as background race with no importance

I pretty sure you can homebrew some lore but there nothing much to work with for angels

I'm personally more curious about Felrocs.
(Post-Cinfras Race, appear to be greenskins but have magic (Their Brutahealens variants have wands.) so not greenskins (they aren't even mentioned in Order of the Grook) that seems to have some connection to the rain, dropping Pure Rain Stones.)
Not much is really ever established about these mobs. Harpies, Elefolk, Nimbuseekers and Cirruskaters (Nerf their mythic drop rate!), Luxroots, Phrumpkins, Alraunes, Fairies, etc.
We don't really know anything about them. Orcs got their own set of quests, while these poor background races have next to no lore.

Pretty sure these races simply just there for gameplay and background purpose, I don't think they have any thing worth exploring in term of narrative or gameplay for that matter

If they didn't have quests, you could say the same thing about orcs and goblins.

that because the writer decide that there is something worth expanding upon those 2 races
not every races need some address within the world , sometime they simply there as background set that does not need explanation or expansion beyond few words
While sometime the race that being select to expand upon are questionable(Like Skyraider), I feel like orcs storyline specifically play the idea of villagers being more corrupted than they appear to be with the twist of villagers being the one who break cease fire and the relevation that orcs are more civilize race than they appear to be.

Maybe they’re half-elf half-orc seeing as Felroc is a combined scramble of Elf and Orc?

It is that is so cool. We do also know that species can mix together like Ardulf the vilman so it's not a stretch that maybe some of the spcecies we see are just combinations of a few.
