Me too bro. All this Dern lore is so interesting to me, and I find this dev state of the Expanse to be very fascinating. The huge difference between its current state makes it all the more intriguing…

 

The structure vaguely reminds me of the dogun ritual thing from dnd4 so I wonder what the devs had planned for the olm

If we get the dern update then I think it would be nice to see some ruins with some lore that isn’t caves or have any chest just to reward people who go out of their way to look for something like that. Maybe you could hide a secret there or something

Okay so here's the thing

I've been trying to wade through this weird murky gray area in terms of World Downloading, because apparently it might not be bannable to download the map if it is purely for personal use?

That's according to a moderator who was quoting Grian, anyway, so I wasn't too sure whether it was 100% true. I'll try to find the original message once the #hero-beta channel comes back on again
Tried to ask Salted about it but he was kinda vague about the whole thing, which I kinda understand

But to my knowledge it probably isn't actually illegal to download Wynncraft's map if you plan to just use it for yourself, unlike what a lot of other people might assume, along with any moderators or CT who would immediately think that is the case if someone were to ask them about the WDLing. It's just common sense!

Don't quote me on that, though, I hold no responsibility if I actually turn out to be absolutely wrong and Salted was just trying to say "no" in the most implicit way possible

You actually originally could go over to that building when I first built it, that was when we were first building the SE and it looked much different than it does now. That was the style of pretty much the entire region at the time, but when we revamped the SE and redid the Olmic city, added Lutho, etc. the area became obsolete and no longer benefited the linear progression the SE was designed to follow so we barriered it off to serve as decoration. Glad people have found it on the map and find it interesting though!
