Underworld Crypt Boss Not Spawning

I went through the dungeon smoothly with no bugs nor glitches, and the boss room is empty. I couldn't find a recent tutorial so I'm wondering if I did something wrong or this is a bug . I attempted this dungeon twice and it happened to me both times(this is my second ever time being in this room on this profile). Everyone else seemed to be able to fight the boss normally though

did you wait for at least 10 seconds? because if not then theres probably something wrong with your dialogue system rather than the gameplay itself

 

I just saw a post where someone's problem got fixed by going in 1.19.4 maybe the 1.20.1 is messing with wynncraft

Happen to me and me friend recently and both use 1.19.4 and the boss doesn't spawn and we are reading reddit and forum if there's something we can do to get the reward, but idk if we'll be able to compelte this dungeon

 

I think it might not appear if you are using mods too, like optifine. When I first started playing optifine was buggy with wynncraft

 

From what i can tell it’s not mod or version related, it’s just the boss reset mechanism that is bugged on wynncraft’s side.
Basically if you or someone else have done the dungeon on the same world, there’s a chance the boss will stop spawning in that world (but it’s not consistent, sometimes you can do the dungeon several times in a row anyway), QA is aware of the bug and it will hopefully be fixed in a future patch.
