I have not lied. We sealed the darkness because we fear it. We seal away, destroy, kill what we do not understand, what we fear. You fear that Darkness would take away what you have created. No. It does not destroy. Hide to those not adapted, perhaps. But what is there remains. On the other hand, Light mutates, transforms, everything it touches. It merges everything into itself. It prides itself with it. Do you not fear the world of one thing?

Light transforms what it touches. As does the darkness. Where the darkness creates fear, the light creates hope. To you, perhaps, the Light seems to be one, as would any with vision discovering for the first time what is struck by sunlight. Let your eyes adjust, and you will see what the Light truly is.

Where darkness give freedom of though, light takes it away. To you, perhaps, Darkness seems terrifying, as would any free for the first time. Do not cower from the unknown, explore it!
I saw Light before, I have seen what it can do. I have seen the landscape. Have you not, to believe it would do any good to you?

Deceives? No, it merely allows you to judge unbiased. The fact that most are not capable of it is sad, but irrelevant. Haven't you seen how the light can play? Make a monster beautiful, but a good man hideous as the sewage flowing on the surface? The light is the one do deceive, you just haven't dared to adapt to the dark.

We are in the darkness as we speak. My torch fails, and what my eyes see bring me great fear, for what is here would destroy the beauty of the Light places at the first opportunity. I have sustained more injury here than in the fieriest realm of the Light's command.
Is it wrong to create variety? Surprise? Is not a beautiful monster more likely to have a knight to fight it, or a disfigured man more likely to explore away from their home? Is there no intrigue in these things? How then can you say the Light makes all the same?
