SPOILER What on earth do we call this thing? (nvm already decided, minor 2.0.3 spoilers)

The name of this thing is Cancereater

In 2.0.3, there were ingredient nodes added, and with these, a reintroduction of refineries. The Silent Expanse in particular got a node, Larbonic Geodes, tumors scattered across the Toxic Wastes. However, in order to refine these, you need to take them, to this thing:


What even is this? This seems to be a creation of the Olm, probably being something like a cyborg, as it seems to be made of organic material and mechanical stuff. If you just hold nothing, it will bite a piece of flesh out of your hand. Alongside it is an Olmic skeleton with a slate describing the thing, and the creator of it (and also presumably the skeleton of the guy) seems to have immense regret.

But thats secondary to the main thing: what should we call this thing? The CT haven't really officially named it, besides what its called internally, Cancereater. Some people in the wiki discord came up with a few names, found in the poll above.

And this thing also has some other fond names the community gave it, the most popular one is Bradley by Samsam101. I call dibs on the next eldritch monstrosity being named jake.

"Cancereater" is fun, but I'm also a fan of the dissonance of just calling it something mundane and clinical like "The Refiner". (since I'm pretty sure refinerer and refinerist aren't actual words)
