    Hello there.
I played Wynncraft a lot when it was younger, and I must say, it is a charming game.
From the perilous dungeons to the lovable NPCS to the goofy quests, it was truly one of the games of all time.
Now, I am a huge fan of TTRPGs(Tabletop Role-Playing Games), and due to lack of confidence in building my own, I thought: ''Oh, what if Wynn but D&D or something like that?''
I think this is a good idea, and in fact I would completely buy just the Wynncraft quests, NPCs and general world in setting book format, but I am not too sure on how to do it.
For people who have the wonderful world of ·Wynncraft fresh in their minds and/or have experience with tabletop, what do you think?
And if I should do it, any tips?

I'd love to get into DnD someday, and a Wynn campaign sounds really fun!

It's a bit hard to get into but if you have enough time I sooo recommend it. It's literally your own universe to play with, just like an RPG but you can do so much more, even anything depending on your GM.
But anyways, would y'all think a Wynn campaign would be viable?

I don't have that much GMing experience, but maybe we could do it if we are a bunch of people, the Wynncraft quests, NPCs and bosses we all love in DnD and Pathfinder forms.
Also, haven't I seen you somewhere?

Experienced DND player here, seeing wynncraft and dnd would be a cool combo, cause it would give players more than just being murderhobos(People who kill anything and everything in their path) or just being on a linear path, and it would give some experience to down time activities for the campaign (Aka the crafting level system) being able to not know the BBEG in the beginning of a campaign would be nice too, usually dms do that first thing in a campaign and it would give a bit of mystery to the campaign

I’m about to try this with a couple friends so I’ll let y’all know how it goes

Update 1: It turns out that a lot of WC races synch up with D&D ones (Aarakocra —> Avo and whatnot), so that’s nice

I’ve actually been running a homebrew D&D 5e campaign based on Wynncraft for over half a year, and my players have just arrived in Detlas. I’ve been translating all of the class archetypes in Wynn into D&D subclasses (still got a few left to do), and I’ve slowly been translating each of the quests & secret discoveries in-game to a more D&D-compatible format.

I ran a very similar campaign for about 1 year back in 2018-2019, and my players made it through Almuj before we had to close it out.

I’ve been trying to weave an overall cohesive storyline together with WynnEx, the War of the Realms, and the dungeons/raids of the world as the backbone of the story, using some secret discoveries to flesh out the lore as my players go along. I’m using milestone for leveling players up, and with us meeting once or twice a month since January, they’ve just reached level 3 last month.

    It'd be fun, probably.
A direct translation of the server probably wouldn't be the most appealing, so perhaps go in depth with certain questlines or regions.
