Lighting on Housing

Is there anyway to fix the large dark spots on this guild house without torch spam? It looks kind of ugly with it dark on one side.

You could maybe try and hide glowstone in some of the dark spaces to try and light it up more, or find a way to incorporate lights better than just spamming torches. However the main issue is minecraft's weird light rendering and there isn't a whole lot you can do without maybe putting more light sources in darker areas.

If you use wynntils you can press "G" which enables gammabright and will get rid of all the ugly shadows, though it's restricted to a mod so only you'll see it.

Outside of that there isn't a ton you can do, so maybe try adding more light sources whether it's by windows, hiding glowstone in the walls, or placing torches.

 

is glowstone on the block menu?

 

does placing a block nd breaking it fix it, if not, no clue

 

it worked for one side, that is why one side is light i think
