Lootrunning will most likely continue to stay on top, since if share trading is good, then tons of people will do it, and drive the prices down.

That's not how it's going to work considering these things have actual, real value outside of the economy, people aren't just going to part with them for a low price, if the price is too low they'll use them themselves or not buy them causing supply to go down and prices to rise again. Nobody knows what that price is yet since an emerald to bomb/crate conversion is new, but there's essentially a price floor and it's probably really, really high considering those are things most of the playerbase doesn't have access to and have massive gameplay implications.

The price (once settled) will probably rise the number of lootrunners will probably increase causing the value of money to go down. It's funny they said they were copying bonds since in RS, you have to activate bonds with in game currency so there's a directly associated money sink. Here that's not a thing so the more people want them, the more emeralds which will be farmed to get them.

They'll also probably serve as an alt currency since emeralds are essentially worthless in comparison, I would be shocked if people weren't trading these for mythics in the future instead of emeralds since they're objectively a better currency with more stability since their value is tied to actual currency.
