How do you install Wynntils through Optifine?

How do you install Wynntils through Optifine?
I tried going on to wynncraft then escape, options, resource packs and dragging and dropping wynntils in. it asked if i want to use it in mc and i clicked yes, then nothing happened.

 

optifine isn't a mod loader, it is just another mod, like wynntils
so you simply place both of them in the mods folder

if you want to play in 1.12.2, use forge + optifine + wynntils

if you want to play in 1.19.3, use fabric + various performance mods (not optifine) + artemis (new wynntils)

 

So you mentioned "not optifine" Is this just because optifine is 1.19.2?

 

it's because there are mods that do what optifine does but way better

Wow that is a lot!
I see voices of Wynn, does that make the NPC's speak with words? So what mod does OptiFine's job but better?

you just have to download optifine into a forge folder containing wynntils and any other mods you want. Personally, I just use Wynntils, Optifine, and Distant Horizons.
Edit: You wont see Optifine pop up in your list of mods, but to check if you installed it properly, just go into video settings, and see if it is the vanilla settings or the Optifine ones.

if you want to use 1.19.3, I recommend downloading launchy: Wynntils/launchy at v1.3.0 (github.com)
it's a small program with a list of mods that are usefull for wynncraft and in it you can choose which ones you want and download them. It is way easier then searching for mods yourself and it makes it easier to keep all the mods updated

 

So what i will try is downloading Forge 1,19.2 and having optifine, wynntils and voices of wynn on it.

 

Wynntils is only for 1.12.2? Dammit!

Well I fiddled around with 1.19.2 and 1.19.3 versions of both forge and wynntils. I followed a tutorial by wynntils exactly but it still didn't show up on the mods list. The tutorial was 1.12.2 but everything looked the same and everything worked except it didn't show up in the mods list.

Are you sure you have the right versions?
for wynntils you need to have a version that is for 1.19.3 and forge, I see that that is not available on curseforge, so you need to download that from here:

so i followed this link which is where i got it before and i downloaded the latest version which was released today and it worked! as i type i am downloading the voices of wynn mod.
btw is there any way to make the wynntils minimap smaller?

voices of wynn is not available for forge 1.19.3
it is very important to pay attention to the minecraft and mod loader versions that mods support
