Where does one farm Nii Runes these days?

I can't find any information newer than the beginning of 2021 on this anywhere; and the things mentioned there don't seem to work anymore. The only spot I found a guardian in is at the gate thingy at the lazarus pit; but I only got two spawns (4 runes) after spending a lot of time in that area.
So where/how does one farm Nii runes these days? Judging by the prices on the trade market and the fact that you need lots of them for the Foundry I can't imagine them being all that rare, so I must be looking in the wrong place.

Yeah, that's one of the things I found - It lists the road between Lexdale and the Cathedrale as the best spot (other sources said the same), but I have spent quite a bit of time there and have not seen a single spawn.
Do I need to kill everything to keep some kind of mob cap free or something?

Also... Are spawn nodes influenced by totems? That might help me if it's the case

 

Okay, so the light forest spot is working now, though it took forever for the first one to spawn (got two Corrupted Sewer/Pit guardians each, a unicorn and a bunch of suspicious crates before a single Nii guardian showed up). Maybe something to do with vanilla's local difficulty? Or I could just be very unlucky.

 

i believe nodes sometimes spawn less mobs the more time you've been there. the spawn rates are random though so maybe your luck is just really bad. You can also buy Nii runes on the trade market if you really cant get any.
totems dont affect rare mob spawn rate unfortunately

 

i believe people farm around the trade market not sure tho

 

you can buy them off tm.. you dont need to farm them individually.. also if you find somone with all forgery keys to run with you get some of every type of rune if you survive all runs finish and get the kills

 

You get a fair amount from raids
Not reliably enough to just do that for a few days and then do forgery, but it gets you Nii runes and also emeralds to buy Nii runes
