  1. Mage (mobility + heals)

  2. Shaman (damage + heals)

  3. archer (damage + mobility + risk)

The way I see it, is that there's two viable playstyles: high mobility with mediocre damage, and mediocre mobility with high damage.

For the mobility playstyle, there's really only one viable option, and that's mage. Teleport is the best movement option by far, and with the other buffs the riftwalker archetype gives to mobility, nothing else even comes close to the speed this class can breeze through sections. On top of that, mage has access to heal, which helps with consistency and makes sure that a single mistake can't kill you (and the run). The only downside is that mage doesn't have the greatest dps in the game, and would be much slower than archer or shaman during the higher level bossfights.

In contrast to mage, shaman and archer have worse mobility than mage, but the time they would save during bossfights due to their higher dps could make up the difference. While mage's mobility makes it solidly faster in most dungeons, shaman and archer would be much faster for eo, ff, and the higher level forgery dungeon bosses.

IMO, I think that mage probably has the potential to be a lot faster than shaman and archer, but what do you think?

Mage is probably the best all-rounder, but when it comes to bosses? Bolt, Sharp, and Fallen easily outclass everything else in terms of speed. Sharp probably wouldn't be the best idea since dungeon runs also require token collecting, but fallen monk has good AoE and damage while not being as slow as Acolyte. Riftbender does have winded but by the time you get that fully stacked, other Archetypes would have already shredded through the boss.

Tldr: I personally think Fallen Monk would give the best results (if you're good at not dying)

Archer might be best at damage, but remember: with archer, you only really gain time on the FF, SST/CSST, LS/CLS and CGG parkours. Whereas with Warrior you only lose time on FF/1 of SST/CSST parkours while gaining time on EO, CUR/UR, CDS/DS, IP/CIP, and LS/CLS while still doing big damage, having a passive speed of 20bps with charge and getting large AOE

warrior's mobility is better than mage's (and any other class, really) in the cramped, twisty areas that fill a good chunk of the dungeons, while also being one of the best damage options - not sure why warrior went unmentioned in the OP

Depends on two factors left kind of ambiguous:
    - Do you mean ALL dungeons or just the forgery dungeons?

If you mean ALL, including the lower level ones, DPS matters a lot less. Making mage a really good fit.
Personally I often find archer's grappling hook (note: grappling hook, not escape) to be even better than teleport (especially because a lot of parkour gets vertical in dungeons). And speed III really helps where the place is too cramped for teleport so I think archer.

    - Do you mean "fastest time to complete one run" or "fastest time to complete as many runs as possible"

Because in the first you can simply retry the whole run if you die. In the second dying makes a huge time loss.
So basically the difference is how much you value survivability.

But assuming you are a Certified Gamer God who does not die, I'd say Boltslinger archer with grappling hook.

I mean ALL dungeons, corrupted and normal. Dying is definitely a bug problem, and not just because of the time loss. In order to have a competitive time, you’re going to need to use tp scrolls for every dungeon, meaning you’ll get low on soul points. This can somewhat be mitigated by doing eo, ff and forgery first, but it makes the most sense to me to do forgery last to save on inventory space (because you’ll need 18 keys and 10 scrolls, leaving 0 slots left for weapons, potions, emerald sack, and a horse if needed) as there’s a very convenient echest right where the forgery scroll spits you out. 10 tp scrolls means you’re down to 5 soul points, and could potentially end up losing important items. Obviously you’ll gain a couple soul points back as you do the run, but it’s still a risk.

Yep. Forgery is one of my favorites. They are cheap, and you can just leave when you get there and it is only a minute or 2 to get to the Juggler in Cinfras, so they are like having a script to a big chunk of eastern Gavel.
