"Recruit Friend" not working correctly?

When I recruited a friend (and got accepted), the "+256 emeralds" reward was still unavailable, and the "+30% XP while in a party together" won't work. Did I misunderstand it?

 

uh well its supposed to give u, i did it before. It doesnt give your friend anything but its supposed to give u the ems, check ur recruit friends tab and see if you need to click anything and then if not report

my "recruited friend" list has 1/8 but my "+256 emeralds" shows 0/1

my friend even did tutorial multiple times on multiple classes when i bugged, though it didn't help

this is how the bug came:
let me call my account as A and friend account as B
A is well progressed and B just logged in to Wynncraft
AFTER B finished King's recruit, A recruited B as a friend and got informed that reward would be sent after B finish King's Recruit and discover Ragni (But this has already happened!)
B deleted this class and completed King's Recruit on other classes, this didn't help; and "+30% XP while in a party together" won't work.
In A's "View Recruited Friends", there is "Recruited Friends (1/8) : -B (Accepted)", but in rewards like "+256 emeralds", it shows "Recruit Friends: 0/1".

How did your friend even accept the recruit invite? I have two friends i have tried to send it to but they said they don't get anything they can click on.

 

i sent recruit request, my friend got it in chatbox, my friend clicked accept in chatbox, then both of us got an acceptance message
