Oh yeah ofc, I live in Hungary, I've had major connection issues recently, my best guess is the closest dns server to wynn had some problems, since a vpn fixes it all. It was the highest my ping went, I joined a Scrap party and everything seemed fine until I noticed my spells not casting right so I turned on the ping display and saw that it was around 500k.... I actually did time actions and it was accurate for 8 minutes (which is indeed the time for light to reach the earth from the sun.), it was an insane experience. Even typing into guild chat had a pretty big delay, we were joking about it on discord. The issue thankfully fully went away and I do not suffer from these issues anymore

That's an insane level of ping! I also participated in a scrap party and I guessed it was around a 6 minute delay for me, but I didn't time it. Turning off particles in optifine and doing /toggle particles none got rid of the delay, and mainly was just left with a bit of an fps drop
