    I just remembered this game
Omori is a funny little game where you play as this white kid that does white stuff in his very white space. The main protagonist has decided to shove away everything that is black within a cell, in favour of his white (slightly purple) friends. Anyone that actually knows the game will see the accuracy of my description. Here's the steam page btw
This is one of those story heavy games that you really don't want to spoil. I think that most of the community has done a good job on protecting new players from spoilers (their subreddit has one of the most strict no spoilers policies Ive seen), but the problem is that your average omori meme will most likely spoil the entire thing if you have even just a little context on the game.
So it's heavily recommended that you don't interact with the community at all during your playthrough.
I myself didn't follow this advice and well... let's just say that some guy decided to crank a joke in the comments of an art post. And I kid you not, the game's biggest revelation spoiled there.
Anyways, what do you guys thinks about the silly game with the plant femboy.

Extra stuff: Although I see Omori as one of those indie games that became the next big thing, I feel as though it's... hidden? Definitely not the same attention as hollow knight, undertale, fnaf, cuphead all those funny haha games, yet it's still incredibly popular.
It makes me wonder, what if someone put the same effort into a game that any of these studios did, but it just kinda... flopped? The internet wouldnt flip out, there would be no playthroughs with millions of views on youtube, nobody would start fangirling over every single character, a dedicated community wouldnt spark up, nothing. There are sure to be some hidden gems out there, just waiting for their turn in the limelight, no?
It kinda reminds me of tboi, the game that was made to flop but instead redefined the roguelike genre (or atleast the 17 video essays I watched on it said so)
Sure, you can just compare the size of the communities and you'll see that there are many less people within the Omori community, but the thing that strikes me as odd, and really makes me think that Omori is more "hidden" than the others is the lack of "theories"
Despite its heavy focus on history (and the main selling point tbh), there are almost no theories online, nothing. You have to practically dig to find any video essay on youtube that is even remotely popular. Maybe Im overexaggerating a bit, but if you compare omori to any of the other indie games I mentioned there's not as many timeline analysis and other stuff like that online. Sure, this is in part due to Omori's fanbase being smaller, but just look up "Hollow Knight theory" on youtube and compare it to Omori. Hollow Knight definitely isnt focused on the story nearly as much as Omori, and yet there are so many more results online.
MatPat (Game Theory guy) didn't even make any videos on Omori. Well, there were some livestreams where he played the game, but he got a bit of hate cuz he was trying to spare the enemies like it was undertale 2.0
