The problem with that law is that it was passed by the Rodoroc Government, meaning it doesn't apply outside of Gavel.

 

Actually, fleris have a tough life in the wild cuz they are constantly preyed upon due to them being passive. That's why fleris mostly eat rocks and live in lava mountain crevices.
But it's a good thing you adopt one as you save it from nature's cruelty

Word of advice: Fleris don’t tend well to most frequencies of EM radiation. While it does warm them and can be used to keep a fleris hot in times of need, they usually prefer old-fashioned stovetop heat or maybe some lava imported from the Molten Heights if possible.

since theres little to no rocks i can feed my fleris in my area i usually have to resort to manual heating methods

Tips:
- Do not put them near flammable objects, especially wood, cloth, and gas stove (rookie mistake)
- Do not put them near water, as they say "Curiosity killed the flerisi"
- They are high jumpers. Make sure to put them outside if you don't want holes on your ceiling (put them in a cage inside if it rains)
- They can power & operate corkian machines (myth)
- Feed it rocks
- Give it lava baths, preferably imported from the molten heights
- Radiations makes them hyperactive (myth)
