Art Battle Monk + Lore

I present to you

Cade, THE BATTLE MONK


Here's a little Backstory/Lore about him
Cade, was a known warrior during his young age. He has fought many strong enemies and has been exploring since his teen.


He has ventured through many unknown lands in the Gavel Region and many adventurers have admired and feared him. However, fame and success soon bring our excellent warrior to arrogance and ignorance.


He soon got heard a rumor about an individual called Qira, that was claimed to be an undefeated "monster mage". Feeling confident, he went to the Hive to challenge the so-called undefeatable mage despite being warned by the locals and his friends.

And he failed...

His confidence was a mistake. Qira was a being who he shouldn't have even challenged. Qira was merciless and was something even worse than a monster. She obliterated our warrior without mercy and destroy his body until he was legs were crippled. However, he managed to run away by using his magical teleporting scroll.


After the failed attempt to defeat the Qira Hive trial, almost losing his life and getting crippled for life, the warrior fell into depression and just live his life in the underground city of Thanos drinking beers and wasting his life on illegal gambling.


A concerned dwarf, an acquaintance of the warrior went to him and told him about the Bantisu Air Temple in the Canyon of The Lost. He told the warrior that the monks there can help him to find his way of life back. The warrior went to the temple and begged the monks to help fix him back.


The monks treated him both physically and mentally to repair back his broken body and state of mind. The warrior becomes a monk for a while to help himself become a much calmer, healthier, and more capable person.


Years went by and he is like a family member to the monks. The monks decided he is worthy to be taught the martial arts of the Bantisu Air Temple and he was trained under tedious and grueling training and it was the hardest challenge he has experience ever. Might even be worse than the Qira fight that left him crippled.


However, the sheer determination of the warrior to defeat Qira keeps his spirit going, and after long gruesome training, he has graduated as a Battle Monk.


And shortly after his graduation, he went straight to the Qira's Hive to settle his unfinished business...

Tldr: Depressed warrior becomes a monk.


P/s: I've never tried posting an uncolored drawing yet so I want to try it this time. I might color it in the future​
