Why do my spells not work?

    My friend and I have spells that do not work (it says they are not unlocked, although we are both high enough), both of us being in separate classes at the same level (Mage for her, assassin for me). How can I fix this?

    uh they changed some stuff so you have to unlock the spells in the ability tree

    right click on your compass in any city and there should be a button
