PROFESSOR DJEMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are probably about 2 people who have any idea what this is, even I myself am not sure about it

this is an ANCIENT easter egg from years ago, to my understanding the whole thing was something to do with 2 professors who were rivals (Professor Djemble and Professor Depumbly) and there was some random mention of Piers Morgan?!?? (who, it should be noted, is a real person)

Anyway, the thing that makes this Djemble special is that this is NEW in 2.0. I was doing some world border exploring with a couple other people and we stumbled upon a cave that is very special to me, which I call the Teki Cave. The Teki Cave is home to some creatures called the Teki who are similar to Gerts, which could have massive lore implications. I made a theory about it once.

Anyway, for some reason, a bunch of old ocean border caves were reworked in 2.0, and the Teki Cave is one of them. Not only are our Teki friends still there, but now Professor Djemble is too!

I don't recall Djemble being present in this cave prior to 2.0 so this is actually a NEW one. Could the return of Djemble finally be upon us?

(this is probably one of 2 Djembles on the map. We also found one in this weird wooden place near Corkus)

The Djemble lore was by far the most ridiculous lore in the entire game. His lore makes the Talking Mushroom and Cowfusion look pretty normal. Like, a talking melon with a talking pumpkin rival who cloned himself and hid all over the map? And his pre-troms rework lab was named after Piers Morgan?

wait holy shit i remember this from 2016 era, i was NOT aware that he even existed anymore, i assumed the djemble/depumbly lore that afaik was just a builder inside joke at the time had already died when those funny little easter eggs started getting phased out in 2017/2018. this is great news
