Softlocked on flight in distress

Ok so I’m doing flight in distress with a friend, and I died on the killing pirates part. When I try to go to the deck there are barrier blocks on the stairs. Is this a softlock?

 

Things I’ve already tried:

disconnecting and reconnecting
Switching lobbies
/class
Killing myself just sends me back to cinfras and when I go back the barriers are still there
The option to sleep isn’t even there

 

pretty sure u just need to redo the entire quest again(quest book prob wont update until u get to the pirate stage again and finish it)
if u need steps for the quest again then u can use the wynn wiki

 

I’ve already tried talking to the captain as well, he just says “Men, hold her steady. We can still survive this! We just need to stop them following us.”

 

Talking to the mechanic (or anyone else on the ship)
also doesn’t do anything

 

Is there a way to completely reset the quest?

 

It's impossible to reset a quest. The best thing you can do is retrace your steps from start to finish (assuming you've already relogged and everything) and if that doesn't work, then you should submit a bug report and wait to see if it gets fixed in the next patch
