theory about magic

so I've been thinking on this theory for sometime now since 2.0 released and it about the way magic works in the game

this more of the theory on the olms then about magic itself but imma still talk about general magic as a whole

the way I see it there's three kinds of magic artifact magic runes magic and shamenism

lets talk about rune magic first
we all know about the runes that were added in 1.20 az runes nii rune uth rune and tol rune each of these runes can open places that are inaccessible otherwise such as az rune being able to open the nest of grootlangs raid or tol rune being able to open the canyon colossus and the nameless anomaly but... why?? its interesting to note that certain runes can't open certain places such as az runes not being able to open tcc

the in game lore that we know for certain says that the olm and the ancient civilization of gavel used runes for their magic but we don't know much more than that so this is where some parts of this theory is speculation

in order to understand runes fully we have to know how their obtained

az runes are mai
