In a (somewhat) recent profile post I mentioned I was learning how to draw. Well I decided to turn my progress into a learning art blog thing (incredible english). Please leave constructive criticism down below. Will be updating every 2-3 days on progress.

    Days 1 and 2:
The Archer approaches a small campfire from afar off. The light of the moon reflects off of the Archer's worn cloak.

Actual feedback: those boots look pretty weird, good stars tho.
Tip: 3d logs next to the campfire would improve the image, and using a more chaotic assortment of logs would make the campfire more realistic - I have never seen a fire that looks like the generic stock clipart campfire, it's just log on burnt log on burnt log. When I draw a campfire, I draw one log at an upwards angle, and one flat underneath. Maybe try someting like that?
This bit will be removed the next time there is an update so that I can keep the description log clean.

Yes I have trouble drawing shoes. It’s hard to see in the photo but there are 100+ eraser marks on that spot alone. Day 3+4 will probably be me fixing shoes and campfire. Maybe change out the cloak design and see what works.

    I'll give you a quick how-to-draw lesson.
When you want to draw a body as an beginner, use shape.
Shape will distinguish the body part and will help you on drawing the details later.
You can also learn the shape of the drawing mannequin (the wooden doll used for drawing)
You went straight on drawing the cloak which affect your body proportion.

Conclusion, go slow and draw the body first

disclaimer : I'm no professional,I'm just an idiot with a drawing tablet.

Well, alan already cover mostly what I have to say,so let me elaborate a bit further.
    from what I see,
    1. your character's head looks too oval, like an egg of which makes them look like an egg than a head(If this is your style then go for it.)
    2. did you stroke multiple times make a longer lines? because if so, I'd reccommend you not to do it (if not then, my bad. but that cloak looks like multiple stokes.). if you want to draw a long line, use a single stroke it'll make your sketch look much cleaner.
    3. the mistake I often saw people making over and over, is not drawing a posture of character before putting clothes on them. as Alan already said.
    In conclusion
    1. study about basic shape how to break down things into shapes like circle triangle square rectangle etc.
    2. I recommended you study about anatomy (for art, you don't need to remember how every organs looks or located Except if you want ot draw gore) Muscles and skeletons are the most crucial for drawing most characters so study about those should be enough and do not forget about ears, eyes and mouth too.

I will add more if I can think of anything here.
ok I forgot, you could always look about drawing up on any art channel. that should cover more than what people say here too. (no offense to anyone)

Thank for the input! Days 3-5 was supposed to be me drawing the art mannequin thingys but got sidetracked by school and vacation. I think I will do more drawing exercises if you have some to suggest. The everything that I draw is small strokes even though I know that’s a habit I need to break.

Tip: When you try to draw a long line straight, move your arm from as far back as possible. This minimizes the chance that a joint's range of motion causes curve - you can prove this by drawing a curved line moving only your wrist and another line of similar length only moving your extended arm at the shoulder. Of course, you still will want to get good at making straight lines (without rulers because those best if you're making precise, relatively large geometric shapes), because you do still have curve in the line from the shoulder, it just keeps you from sabotaging yourself as easily.
